Campania is the wine growing area around Naples where, since Roman times, vines have thrived in the volcanic soils. This harsh environment helped the vines stay Phylloxera free but also led to a decline in winemaking in the region - a trend now thankfully reversed by a new generation of winemakers.

Rocca del Dragone:

Falanghina is the grape varietal; 15% is barrel fermented and given a short two month stay in oak. A lovely pale yellow colour with a bouquet reminiscent of flowers, hints of melon and almonds. The palate has good acidity and a pleasant touch of minerality.

Aglianico has 30% of its grapes aged for 10 months in American oak. Deep ruby-red color, with aromas and flavours of black cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate, coffee and pepper. Full bodied yet amazingly smooth and elegant.
